After substantial redoing, editing and sprucing up, this is the Inan Region. A map done for a homebrew Pathfinder campaign setting.

Thematically akin to say the Middle East roughly 2000 years ago or more.

Geographically this land is semi-arid, save for the massive rivers flowing threw the region that would otherwise be forsaken desert. Warfare is commonplace as small fractured kingdoms and city states fight for control of what could be the most agriculturally productive land on the planet. If one country could rule the vast Inan Plains, Sabylian Hills and the Tamaz Delta, they could feed a world spanning Empire.
