Description The mother of oceans, and the giver of their life. She will watch over them from dawn until dusk. As the moon guides the ships from the sky, she will watch their grey bodies under the waves, and keep them safe.

Beautiful, creative work! I like the fish tears! The background is very nice and unusual. Did you use watercolors to make it?

Thank you! It's a separate piece of paper made by laying it over water with oil based inks floating on the top.

I like the background. Even though it is in a different medium it fits well in colors and mood.  I also love that she is recognizeably Inuit!
However, it seems the facial proportions are somewhat off:
The distance between hairline and eyebrows, eyebrows and base of the nose, base of the nose and underside of the chin are about equal.
The fishes. the twine and teardrop fit well together in the way they flow left and right, however... how would one see her tears when she´s underwater?

Hey there, thank you so much I'd love to keep brining more diversity into my artwork  
I'll take that into account when I draw her again, thank you for such a constructive suggestion! 
Thank you ah, with the tears, if you enlarge the image they're actually a stream of little blue fish. I suppose you'd see them for what they are when they start to swim away.
