This is not related to my current storyline! I just felt like drawing those two x)
Zofie I love this mare so much!

Three strides. Two strides. One stride. Jump. Zofie pushed herself off the ground and took a big jump over the cavaletto. Ace wasn't prepared for her to jump that high but somehow still remained in balance. Zofie was a good and smooth jumper. All she needed were clear helps and signs from her rider to make it through a parcour succesfully. It wasn't that Ace was inexperienced, no way, he actually was the most experienced rider at the whole stable - at least when it came to Obertaurer. But it's safe to say that he wasn't the best show jumper. Yet. So after Zofie accepted him as her rider, he started working hard with her. Not only to keep her fit and learn more about show jumping but also to form a deep bond with her. He still was incredibly grateful to have gotten such an amazing mare like her.
Whenever you'd walk outside in the early morning, you could already see Ace and Zinoviya strolling through the outdoor arena. They both enjoyed the silence and fresh air there was in the morning.

Another jump. Zofie took a sharp turn, almost spinning around on her hindquarters. With big leaps she gained speed.
"Now shorten the reins to get her attention to the obstacle." Sergio exclaimed. As he was an early-bird as well, he usually was there to teach Ace. And even tho Ace hated to admit it, Sergio made a really good teacher.
He shortened the reins. Zofie lifted her head up higher and took a huge leap over the obstacle. Ace was thrown out of balance for a second, but quickly regained it after Zofie cantered steady for some seconds.
"Hah. I don't know why you're always saying you're crap at show jumping. I've certainly seen worse", Sergio said and immediately earned a death stare from his friend.
"I mean seriously, you won two show jumping competitions. That tells us that you're not crap at all."
Ace rolled his eyes and let Zofie slow down to a fast walk. "It tells us that Jay is a damn good horse to ride and that you all were blind for not seeing my struggles."
Sergio shrugged. "I thought you like being complimented? And now that I gave you one, you throw it back into my face like that and actually insult me? Wow, that's- not cool." He laughed.
Ace kept quiet for a moment before his brows furrowed. "Did you ever wonder how painful it is to get overrun by a horse?"
Sergios expression changed to a very confused and wondering one. "Uh, what? I mean, yeah..."
"You're going to find out very soon if you don't shut up." Ace smirked in an evil way and looked at his spanish friend.
Sergio threw his hands up in defeat. "Woah, sorry. But you don't want to kill your riding instructor just yet, do you? I mean, like you said, you're still pretty crappy at show jumping and I'm the only one who can teach you."
"-I legit hate you right now."
"I love you too!" Sergio said and blew him a kiss before quickly jumping over the fence as he saw Zofie dashing towards him in high speed.
