Quick Bites is a new thing I'm trying. They don't exactly fit into NQC continuity, they're more of a joke a day thing. I've been playing around with the idea of doing a 'comic a day' thing to try and improve my drawing ability - this is an indication of what that would look like.

WARNING: This image contains much fanboy-ishness, fangirl-ishness and generally squeeling and geeking out over the almighty marvel comics. I like comics.

Felt like a bit of a change up, so decided to draw an NQC. I have a bit of a block with the characters at the moment, I've sat down to draw a few times and just can't turn out anything I like. This isn't much better, but it came out okay, so I thought I'd share.
Based on a real conversation. Emily and I were talking over MSN and I said, randomly, "I'm a marvel" and instead of saying DC in return, she said straight back "And I'm a marvel" and I told her she had to be DC to my marvel but in the end we both just ended up being Marvel.
Once upon a time, Emily was very anti-DC comics, but she collects Green Arrow and Black Canary at the moment (as well as a few others I think), so she's much more DC than I am...
Anyways, it doesn't help that Grevious and I have been discussing Skrulls and Sue Storm all day.
Oh, and on a side note, Emily owns an X-Men shirt that looks like that, but I don't own the Fantastic Four shirt, sadly. One day I hope to.

And at it's heart, it is of course, a reference/homage to those wonderful youtube video's "I'm a marvel, and I'm a DC". You can find them here if you haven't already seen them: [link] =r

I just watched the most screwed up Anime film called ' Perfect Blue '. It was kind of cool.
