Celephaïs, you lofty city,
Far beyond the waking world!
Far beyond my chamber gritty
There you are in dreams unfurled.

Golden roofs are shining, gleaming
On majestic marble halls
And in amber heavens beaming,
Touched by snow, Mount Aran calls.

Celephaïs, with eldritch structures,
Lapped by azure ocean foam!
You still sing - while Sarnath ruptures -
Anthems of my ancient home.

From the cliffs the wind is blowing
Where Serannian's galleys fly.
I can see the cloudscapes glowing
High above the Dreamland's sky.

Celephaïs, with knights so gracious,
Golden armor, stellar blades!
To the edge they ride audacious,
Guiding me to unknown glades.

As the fiery skies are weaving
I can see your turquoise might.
To your cosmic spheres I'm leaving
And for this I've gladly died!

Celephaïs, your son's returning!
Finally the day has come.
Countless years I have been yearning,
Searching for your joyous hum.

Through the pillars I am striding,
To the palace I shall soar!
Ginkgo leaves are tumbling, gliding,
Through the valley to the shore.

Celephaïs! Beyond the shadows,
Far beyond demonic reign,
There you are in rippling meadows,
So my death was not in vain.
