You should take more shots! I'm also convinced that I should buy this Nikon.

Hi there! Thank you for submitting to for feedback!
Interesting photo you have here, looks yummy Since you submitted for feedback, I have a few suggestions for you:
With product photography, the lightning is very important, cause it brings up those textures and colors, and harsh shadows should be avoided. Here, these shadows are distracting, and the light coming from almost directly above doesn't work for the texture of the food, so it seems bland. You can try moving the lights around and see what works best.
The same thing goes for the composition and the angle, playing with all those things will have completely different results, and comparing them you will see what's the best. The photo is lacking contrast that would show the texture of the cookies better, and I think that the background has too much blue.
That's all of my suggestions for now. Color of the cookies is nice- that gold is well shown. The blue in the background can work with the color of the cookies, but it should be more even, without sharp shadow lines. I hope this helps, and if you have any questions, please ask!

They were pretty good for grocery-store-bought cookies. But they seem to have an extra bit of sugar that was "sticked" on the bottom.
