Namaia enjoying the scenery in the region of Ruanor, where she had been raised on a farm. Prior to the being a soldier she had been a shepherdess, skilled in training the Thyacosma. She also possesses a talent for "khaeg" or herding calls. She spent many hours perfecting hers, as there is said to a special khia one can do to lure out the legendary Black Thyacosma.
