When I was a kid my favourite bird was a sparrow. Been meaning to do one for a long time, and here we are!I wanted to record this and make a speed-painting video, but the program crashed 16 minutes into recording.... RIP.
Also, this is not related to the drawing, but I need an outlet... Can I just say how BLOODY FRUSTRATING it is that Pokémon Sun/Moon were finally released in Europe today, and my local toy shop didn't f*cking have them in yet!? I'll have to go to the outskirts of town tomorrow and pick it up. Silver lining tho, found out that it's cheaper out there anyway.

Dude, stores don't know what's good! I even asked the staff if they had them out in the back, but nope. I was so disappointed. I even sneaked off from work for 10 minutes to get Moon right when the stores opened (when ORAS got released I went there less than two hours after they opened, and they had one copy of AS and two copies of OR left. Wanted to be sure to get Moon, but egg on my face!). I RISKED GETTING IN TROUBLE AND YOU DIDN'T COME THROUGH, WTF DUMB TOY STORE!?

Haha, that is so good! I remember when the 3DS got released I just didn't go into school for the morning. And when I finally went in I told the teachers I had the dentist. No one questioned me further 'cause I used to be a good little boy, mwhaha! I guess you've managed to get Pokémon by now? I haven't really played it much at all but I'm really enjoying the diversity of Pokémon that are popping up already.

.......................................Actually I'm very depressed today :< I went all the way out to that shop on the outskirts of town, only to find out that they DON'T have the games and they're NOT gonna get them... What type of "electronics'n'gaming" store is that!? They only have the games on their website, not in stores. They said they couldn't even order one to the store for me DX
This is kinda stupid... I really don't want to pay more than 350 DKK because that's already damn expensive as it is. I've been all over town and every store has Sun/Moon starting at 400, EXCEPT that one store that say they can't order it for me... I can buy it from their website for 350 and then pay +60 for shipping, they say o______________________o; Now that's just dumb. Sooooo yeup, I don't have the game yet, instead I have a huge sad face.
EDIT: 'Kay so new news, I just bought the games online. Found a nice online store that had the games for 320 each and free shipping on orders of more than 600

Yay~! At least you've managed to sort out getting them and at a sweet deal too! I actually went looking around my town for them but could only find them for £40 which seemed expensive to me. But then I found them for £32 later in some supermarket on the outskirts of town~! At least we both saved teh precious moolah and can continue to eat.

Exactly, oh my goodness! £40 is more or less 400 DKK and £32 is more or less 320 DKK (as I recall you have to multiply by 9-10'ish), so we had just about the same experience! Dese games yo... I swear, XY and ORAS were cheaper when they were released... That's demand and inflation for ya

In totally related news, I got Pokémon Sun today! No Moon though. Don't know why they're shipping the game separately... I made one order of both games, not two orders... Moon will probably come later, or they just plain forgot to put it in the package and I'll need to complain xD ANYWAY! Goooooooooooooonna start playing on Monday! Was planning on playing Moon first, but fuck, I've got Sun in my hand and I can't wait!

Drampa is exclusive to Moon!? That's kinda awesome news fo me. I got Moon and I'm hoping to have a Drampa on my team. But honestly I keep finding so many cool Pokémon I want in my team I have no idea what it's going to be in the end, haha! I think it's a late-game pokémon, so you probably won't find it before the end, but yup! Serebi says Drampa is only in Moon, at something called Mount Lanakila. I think it must be late 'cause it says "encountered at level 42-45". I reeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaally shouldn't look such things up. I WANNA DISCOVER IT FOR MYSELF DAMN IT WHY DO I KEEP LOOKING AT THINGS!?
Also, I don't know if you already know this, but I'll tell ya just in case it's relevant to you... I found out that only female Salandit evolve! So if you want a Salazzle and have been wasting your time on a male Salandit then ditch that f*cker! It's like Combee for some reason :V

I think I'm literally at the exact same point in the game as you, haha! Just finished cooking up those ingredients in the jungle for that trial. Still haven't been able to play all that much, I'm mostly using my time off to (unsuccessfully) sleep. So far my team is Toucannon, Talonflame, Machoke, Wimpod aaaaand... I'm not sure who else will make my final team yet. Can't believe you got a Jangmo-o, those dudes look AWESOME.
Me being called for Jury Service is clearly the world trying to tell me that I haven't been doing enough anarchy recently. Just you wait until I'm in that courtroom, I'll set fire to the judges wig faster than you can say GUILTY.

Now I beat the hakuna matata of Akala Island
Last night I spent two hours trying to get the last member of my team; bloody Mareanie. That thing is a convoluted mess to even find!
Where did you get a Wimpod!? I only saw that one in the overworld that ran away. Haven't had any Wimpod encounters and I haven't even been using repels! Y u git all teh cool pkmn!?
I'll give you a Jangmo-o! I've got one male and one female so I can breed some C: Let's meet in that Plaza thing one time and do some trading and battling, yo!

One of the NPCs was saying something like Mareanie feed on Corsola? It's pretty amazing that they start attacking Corsola after it calls for help, haha! Those are some sliiiim chances. I'm sure you can do it though, it's just a matter of time. Good luck~! I spend ages on some mountain trying to get a Ditto. It was pretty rare but also I accidentally killed the first 3 I encountered... oops. I actually got that Wimpod that appeared on the overworld! It ran away from me the first time too. But you have to surf around and approach it from the other side, block off its escape route to its home. Now it's a big Golisopod, yay~!

Yeah, they do! Mareanie feed on Corsola's branches, and Toxapex just straight up over-hunt Corsola and eat them. Heard it from that NPC too. I already got one, but thanks for the good luck

And I thought I we Vikings were the ones with clever plans >w> Now I caught one too, so thanks for the plan! Turned out Poni is the last island, so I actually threw Vikavolt off the team... I'll evolve it, transfer it to Moon and use it there! But now Wimpod is in and Charjabug is out.

Ditto is on that mountain on the 3rd island in Sun/Moon. Just down from the observatory place (as you can tell I'm terrible at remembering the names of things, haha!)
I found out my Golisopod is terrible for trying to catch wild Pokémon. He's got the ability Emergency Exit so whenever he hits half HP he just runs away, haha! I really like him for battling though.

Dedication, or possibly just a grudge. If I spend too long on searching for a pokémon it becomes more a matter of "THIS THING AIN'T GONNA BEST ME!". Even if it's a pokémon I don't really need or even care about... 
Oh really!? I was there for a while searching for Minor in different colours and I didn't see any (at least if it's the route I think it is) D: Must be a rare encounter, huh. I'll go back and look! Ditto could be really useful right about now! Normally I'd use my PowerSaves to get whatever I want, but the people who release the codes are soooo clever. Right now you need a paid subscription to use the codes... They'll be released for free use eventually, but they're always locked behind a payment for a month or so after a new game has come out, I'm not sure how long precisely.. xD
Guh, tell me about it. In the beginning I spent a long time finding a few rare pokémon only for my Wimpod to get cold feet. Or cold digits, I guess? Took a while to get used to that. I knew about the ability, but I thought it would just switch out for another of my pokémon, not end the battle!
AND HECK YEAH GOLISOPOD IS AMAZING IN BATTLE! LOVE IT!

Yeah that's the exact area for Ditto, where loads of Minior appear. It was a fairly rare encounter. Definitely not like Mareanie though, rest assured, haha! I always need a Ditto for breeding purposes. That's all he is to me, a mindless sex machine to be exploited.
That's exactly what I was expecting when using Golisopod with wild Pokémon, I thought he'd just switch out to another team member. BUT NOPE. He loves to run away and crush your dreams of catching that rare Pokémon you spent ages trying to find. I've learnt my lesson now though. He's only for trainer battles.

My mate actually told me today that there's no National Pokédex so it seems like you can only get certain Pokémon in this game. Is that true? Can't you trade in from Pokémon Bank? Or perhaps there are only certain Pokémon that you can trade over..? That doesn't sound right though.
I just beat the Elite Four in my game. So now I'm about to check out that extra area on Poni Island and go capture UBs and stoof.

I heard that too. You can still get other mons once PokéBank becomes compatible, but I guess they just won't be registered anywhere? I already have several mons that aren't in the Alola Dex, like the Johto Starters, Unova starters, Litwick, Starly, Bellsprout, Togepi, Budew, etc. So I'm sure you'll be able to get all pokémon once Bank is here :b Some people say THAT's when we'll get a National Dex in the game too. Sure is funny tho, I dunno why they don't just give us the ND like always :V

I did think it was a really weird move to not include the National Dex in this game... I wonder if they'd make some sort of DLC to release the National Dex. Like maybe ANOTHER ISLAND to explore just to help you fill your newly expanded Dex and to make the game even more awesome, haha! I doubt that will happen. But still. That would be interesting.

I've been searching for an exact date, but so far every place I look still only says "January 2017". As for how it's going to work, here is a convoluted scheme: cdn.idigitaltimes.com/sites/id… It almost looks like there's going to be a bank inside the bank. Like... One place that you can transfer mons back and forward between XY/ORAS and Bank, and another place where you can transfer mons back and forward between Sun/Moon and Bank. You can send mons from the XY/ORAS box to the Sun/Moon box, but not the other way around. At least I think that's how it works?

Sadly today I don't see that much birds anymore. Sparrow's are rather rare. Our town had a lot of storks over the last year, but they vanished before winter even come (I guess they flew to another town?).

I guess there are there now... but it was strange cause they vanished when it was really really hot here, like around 35 degrees. I assumed they were gone cause it was very dry so they didn't find food anymore.
