A character wearing hi-tech blue armour, walking through mist. Was mostly a colour test, but i tried to colour it a little differently from my usual marker technique.Related content

I wonder where you pick up these techniques. I cant grasp such things so thoroughly, neither can i see the differences! So complicated... lmfao. You see thats why i suck at coloring. Nice marker colors though, they have this water color effect.
As for the design, you sure are creative with these. Simple outlines though, but impressive detail exposure. Reminds me of a japanese robot warrior

If i like some certain style of colouring in art i see, i'll sort of incorporate it into my style. This is one of those pictures where i ventured out a bit more in terms of experimentation. Basically, i see, like, and reproduce it in my own style. Same on the character inspiration- i've been drawing armour because i'm into robots at the moment.
I like colouring, it makes drawings a lot more showy than just outlines, but i still prefer to sketch things. About 90% of my work is uncoloured, i reckon. Thanks
