Description
This is a submission for me, and me alone, try and get me out of this artist block that's just attacked me. I've tried my damndest to make this work, and i'm proud of it. I'm not too fussed about what you think of it, but i just want you to appreciate it, and enjoy it as much as i enjoyed making it.Had the concept in my head for several days, never quite got it working, so yeah, here we are. Rendered a regular landscape, lots of sea to make you happy, and my first bliss-effect to get the comet shape. Then lots of layers later, the comet appeared. A comet needs a source, so an exploding planet had to suffice, top left/center.
Your universe is exploding. This is the product of my frustration, gaaah i feel like shouting fear my wrath at random people....

IF you're going to suggest things to improve please FULL VIEW first as deviant art doesn't like giving me thumbnails that make my work look good.

great concept, havent seen your work in awhile and you sure improved, great colors and composition. Love it, greatly blended in with terragen, although I would change the boring looking rocks, they could be so more excited and dramatic. Great color reflection on the water aswell

this is awesome. my only suggestion is possible reflection on the water, which would make it unrealistic i suppose. but also cool. i noticed you don't care what we think, so haha, don't think im offended if you don't agree. youre better at this than me. i just wanted to say AWESOME piece. great job.

The terragen shapes and form are great, and that water is phenomenal. And the texture of the falling 'comet' is really cool; also all the fire and flames really give this a destructive look.
But the comet doesn't have enough motion. It's obvious that it is in motion, plumeting very fast, but there is little visual indication of this. The falling red one has a lot better motion.
There are too few shards and pieces flying from the exploding planet too. There should be more around the actual explosion.
I'm a little tired of seeing similar pictures with the whole 'outer space' motif. Why can't the terragen be of a planet with an atmosphere? And clouds and fertile grass? Always the dark unknown space..
But it is spectacular, very well done.

overall feeling looks good, but it seems you've tried to fill up the whole canvas.
Could use better composition in my opinion.

oh, yeah, saw his nice stuff too, still, all of you guys had to catch on from somewhere, i dunno, maybe it was a discussion in a forum some time a while ago :-/ Keep up teh good work tho, nothing better than seeing a planetary ecosystem, trees, ocean, and right above it, a seemingly close group of planets, and stars, very nice, the cintrast is great, reminds me of that one scene at the end of the movie contact, or of the game megarace, lits of things come in mind when thinking of macro space.

I am stunned even more by the file specs than the image itself. My computer can barely handle 10 photoshop layers at about the size of the full view you have here 
Anyway, because my viewing area is so small, I actually prefer the smaller image. I have that problem a lot: because when you can only see 1/8th of an image, its really hard to appreciate the entirety. (I'm not using my own computer, though... I'm using my dad's)
but in any case this is an impressive pic and I definitely respect the work put into something like this.
