Something different... AND IT'S PINK
I'm just getting the juices going again, and I made this. I'm happy with it. Can't say too many of you traditional-alyn-watchers may like it, but hell, it's freshness.
By the way, if you're going to leave crits on this piece, please don't compare it to previous works. One pet peeve I have is when people say "ok, but it's not as good as xxxxxx". Take the piece on its own and don't place it in the shadow of something else I've done. It'll help you appreciate it better.
Finally, there is a concept, but you have to tilt your head to the left to see it. Enjoy.

ps. You're in Whales right? I'm on vacation on great brittain for most of july...southern Scotland for the most part, but still...you guys have some beautiful scenery out here! I can see how it makes for so many great artists.

Call me crazy, but I had a dream that looked exactly like this-- I was on a floating/flying pink heart spaceship and was flying in outerspace... I'm pretty darn sure there was a moon planet thing there... Great work!

Upon viewing it and reading your description, it went something like this.
"Hey, this is cool..." *Tilts head to the left* "Oh, hey! Look at that!!!"
Yeah... Anyway, this is a good deviation, I like it a lot. Especially the colours! I just love pinks and violets.

Nice concept, yeah not one's typical alyn but very beautiful. The first thing I noticed about it is that it looks A LOT better close up than at thumbnail size, as the small are makes the heart look like a tangle of pink weeds and that's obviously not the intended effect.
Beautiful colouring, beautiful smoothness and quality of craftsmaship, hate the planet, love the stars, what more can I say?

its good, but i think the gases could do with some finer details.. just a bit more highlight definiation in places, and perhaps the inner glow of the planet seems a bit much? i mean i know it needs to be light, but you cant really see any detail
