I know I haven't been on DA in a while due to some issues on here. Not sure if I will continue posting here or continue to not use DA. We will see what happens after this goes up. I had a lot of trouble with the colors on this piece as each device I sent it to, resulted in it looking different. For example on my phone, her face looked very red but on my pc, it looked perfect. I toned down some of the red to hopefully meet it in the middle. I hope you all enjoy.Edit: Made some small changes to colors and changed my signature font and size.

I'm in love with your highlight technique! I always have trouble getting them that sharp.

Oh my! You made my day with your comment. I am so happy you like my first piece with your stock. I love your work and look up to you as inspiration for when I make book covers one day so I have been wanting to do something with your stock since you first started posting stock. It's so hard for me to come up with ideas and designs for my artwork so it took me quite some time. This one gave me quite a bit of trouble. It's been a long time since I made a piece for myself and not for a contest. It felt good to just go with the flow. I've been getting better with painting over stock so it is becoming easier for me to get that painted look and highlights. Highlights are still a struggle for me as well though. It's always a hit or total miss. I hope to use more of your stock in the near future. Thank you!!
EDIT: oh silly me. Looks like I did use one of your stock before for a short challenge awhile back! Oops! I forgot about that piece!

Thank you! I am glad you like it. I had a lot of trouble with the colors actually. I always send my art to other devices in my house before posting as pictures can look different across different screen types and I kept seeing this red cast over her skin that was quite evident. It was a lot of back and forth between my devices and Photoshop. Thanks again!
