Description Strongheart (Etzel von Oeringen) was one of the earliest canine film stars. He appeared in several movies, of which only one is known to have survived to this date. Though Rin Tin Tin is much better remembered, Strongheart paved the way for his successors and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
