Hello people!. Finally something new and personal to show. Here is the Red Dragon. I was testing other types of scales for a change. This illustration started in Photoshop and then finished in Painter. About 35 hours work. Hope you like. Greetings to all and thanks for waiting!!!

Hola gente!. Al fin algo nuevo y personal para mostrar. Aqui esta el dragon Rojo. Estuve probando otro tipo de escamas para variar un poco. Esta ilustracion empezo en Photoshop y luego termino en Painter. Aproximadamente 35 horas de trabajo. Espero que les guste.

That is a very fierce looking dragon. Great detail on both the dragon and the knight.
Of course I'm thinking in a few seconds the knight will be needing asbestos undies.

Even though I'm not much for the whole archetype of the dragon playing the role of the villain anymore, this piece really shakes the foundations of what I'm thinking about dragons today. It's a return to that age-old archtypal battle between the glorious, righteous knight and his steed and the fiery, scaly bulk of the evil dragon that stands in the knight's way to his ultimate victory. This is a wonderfully done piece, indeed!
