Description
This is an Imperial noblewoman from my Crystal War universe, pregnant with a dozen children. Unfortunately I forgot to draw her grav belt (which neutralizes most of the apparent weight of her belly) in the original picture so I added the grav belt with my Paint program afterward. Which is why it looks a bit crude, and I made it a scrap.Related content

I remember having this on my computer at least a year before the posting date in April 2008, so I would guess the original drawing is about 2 years old.

"...pregnant with a dozen children..." 8-() Whoa, those are some serious fertility drugs she's used... I wonder if they have anything for all the nasty stretch marks that ensue?

The transhuman women usually just have 1 or 2 children at a time but occasionally they superovulate and have a large number all at once, so it's just their natural biology and not fertility drugs that cause that. About avoiding stretch marks (and vasts amounts of flabby skin after they give birth), I figure the transhuman women have either nanobots or smart microbes permanently residing in their bodies that repair damage and dispose of excess tissue after they give birth, etc. I'm glad people make these observations though because it forces me to think about the world I've created (which I didn't have to do so much when I only showed them to a handful of people at home).

It's not the Paint per se that makes it a scrap; I just think it looks too obvious that the grav belt wasn't part of the original picture and I think a proper deviation should look better than that. But I mean no disrespect to Paint; indeed I use it to color most everything I post here.
