Another purely pencil crayon drawing! Getting used to this style for sure.Used prismacolors on regular white paper, took a few hours.

Thank you for the comment. I made this ages ago, but I think I had wanted them to sort of look the same, to make her face stand out more, but I forget. ^_^;

yeah, i can see how that would make her face pop.
Another good way to do that is maybe use some complimentary colors of the wings in the shadows on her face.
It's a painter's tecnique, i think, but it might work okay here too, if you were very sutble about it.
Anyway, it's fantastic, I really do like it.

Thanks again. I plan to do more pictures in this style, except better because this is pretty old, for university. Hopefully I will be accepted into the fine arts program. I'm just so worried about it.

I'm sure I'll do alright... but I still have to manage to make a portfolio... before April. I don't have many projects done yet, but once I actually get back to school (I was supposed to on Tuesday but school has been cancelled due to snow storms) I think I will make enough for one. I have an advanced art class plus multimedia, so all is good.
