Description
One of the biggest insect ever, the queen of Carboniferous skies !
Meganeura was a complicated one for me, not really because of the drawing side of the thing, but mostly because it's a big puzzle. Meganeura full anatomy isn't really well known due to its fossils not being as weel preserved many can think ; In consequences, the tail is inspired on the genus Namurotypus from Belgium that is much more complete, and the head is a compromise between the different options between its relatives. The wings are the most features I retained from Meganeura, the genus being define on its caracteristics, even the name meaning "big vein/rib" in reference to the ones on the wings.
