Scanned this as a little test. It's a very small portion of what I think was my final art project in grade 11 (but I'm not entirely sure). This is the best image I could get, seeing as it's painted on a 20x20 canvas (which won't fit on my scanner), and it's far too shiny to take a photo of (believe me, I've tried).

My still-in-progress space paintings will be better than this (I hope), for 3 reasons:
I'll be putting more effort into them, as I hope to sell them;
I did this over 2 years ago, and my skills generally improve over time;
I won't get lazy with the background stars (like I did here) and just splatter some runny paint onto the canvas.

In case you're curious, this little purple/indigo galaxy is NGC 3310.

EDIT: Made it bigger, now you can see it better if you want to.
Btw, did you know there's a category just for space paintings? I only found out the other day. Nifty.
