You are drawn to his face- you want to know him, understand him. I love this picture. I love the out of focus background and even foreground to put emphasis on his face, his eyes. The colors are also stunning. Beautiful picture

I did it too, I was so frustrated when I discovered the wrong focus... and it was too late...

Thanks. I'm glad I'm not the only one to do this. Auto focus can be counter productive. Since then I have chosen one AF focus point, and aim it straight at the eyes.
