Of all your wonderful art that I have had the pleasure of viewing I have never once, until now, seen anything that seemed wrong or inconsistent with the overall piece. Β I do very much like this piece but must say that the man's shadow somehow seems, I don't know, off in some way. Β The shadow's legs seem to be starting at the pier rather than the shadow of the pier somehow throwing it out of it's relative position in relation to the proper cast shadow of the figure.
The painting is amazing and the fact that this is watercolor makes me very inquisitive as to the application process. Β I have never used watercolors and can only wonder as to how you build up your colors from beginning to end.
