I'm afraid it's my first time going about this, how would one sew this? just cut out the sizes and sew them to the shoe??

Thank you for making this tutorial. TTA TT it's like the only tutorial i can make sense of to make my nepeta shoes. But i seem to be running into some trouble and can't get the same result as the ones in the picture.
and i'm not sure why either. D:
Do you think you can make take more pictures of your shoe so i can spot my mistake or explaining it a little more?

I'm afraid i don't actually have the shoes anymore, so i can't take more picture of them :/ But if you have some specific questions I won't mind trying to explain or drawing it for you, or maybe post a picture of your result and I'll see if i can pin-point what the problem is?
I will note that i forgot to write that I added a few long stitches between the toes of the shoe to make them more visible - so if it is the toes you have problems with, that may be the cause

So I can't get the toes to stick out like how it is in your pictures. D: And I did add stitches between the shoes but it didn't work. (what stitch did you use for that by the way?)
And i got a problem with the X and O part of the pattern, I'm not sure how to sew that in without it looking all flappy.
And did you glue your shoe cover onto your shoe or did you just put it on? I put mine on but it looks all weird(and flappy) and sometimes fall off. oAo

I made one long stitch between each toe - make it tight-ish to make the gap more visible
I sewed it on to the shoe, and used stuffing to give it some volume - that will make it less flappy

you could try gluing it to the shoe, or you could add elastic to go under your shoes and keep the covers on that way?

ahh i bought myself blue shoes so i might remake the cover and sew it if i don't have time i'll just wear blue shoes. xDD
