I just wanted to do a spiderman sketch the other day, so I picked up an issue of Ultimate Spiderman and looked at the front cover, and I just thought the post was amazing. I pencil sketched this a week ago, but was too afriad to finish it off because I thought it looked crap and out of proportions.But last couple of days, I plucked up the courage and added the webbing to his costume, using reference from a spiderman action figure (because I misplaced the comic). I then inked it over with a fine liner, but it didn't look right.
I decided to go over it again, making some lines darker than others. I don't usually do this, so this was a big experiment for me. I hate experimenting with drawings I want to be good. But overall, I am quite pleased with how this turned out. Am no comicbook illustrator, but as a fan, I am pleased with my efforts.

Looks nothing like the pose I copied from, and I couldnt get the colours exactly right. The arms are way off if you wanna be critical and ruin the illusion of my 'pro' work.

I see what you mean. Even tho it doesn't look like from the original one that you saw. You have made a different style and probably a different pose and that makes this drawing your own work. Sometimes the arms have to be like that if you are going to do those kinda poses.
Don't worry about those detailes because i see you done an awesome job with this one and the color one also.

Wow, this is like the most popular image I have produced on deviantART. Sweet! Just gotta colour the thing. Not gonna finish there though. Got another character drawn out, a superhero of my own (from 'city of heroes' if anyone plays that game) which I will Photoshop together in a head to head clash.
