Description
That blasted seashell too forever!! *hisses at it*She started off with the intent of being a pale mermaid with black pearls, but then the colors kept changing until I settled on this.
Done in Painter 7 and Photoshop CS2.
EDIT: tried repeatedly to save this as a fantasy piece, but for some blasted reason DA keeps making it an anthro piece. >_< Sorry...

I am very impressed with your skills, all-around this is a great piece that is well colored. The only thing is her hand looks a little chubby in the fingers in places.
It might have been intentional I suppose... sorry if that's the case.

*snort* DA did the same thing to me when I tried to submit my most recent picture as fantasy a few days ago. DX It let me fix the category the next day, but not before someone asked me about the anthro thing... >_> *twitch*
Anyway, the seashell looks great, and I love the hand holding it. Fingers are so hard to draw, and you made them look very nice and realistic. All the same, I don't know if I'd want to get that close to this mermaid if I ever met her... Her eyes are rather creepy (and knowing your fondness for soul-eating women)... XD
