Rally nice piece of gritty realism. For some reason it reminds me the work of Jacques Tardi, "C'Γ©tait la guerre des tranchΓ©es", one of my favourite graphic novels.

Reminds me of the Tales of the Black Freighter bits from Watchmen. It has the same queasy subject matter and general palette.
I agree with the other commenter that said that the PS blending is weird. It really doesn't flow with the rest of the piece, as full of hard shadows as it is. Other than that, I'd sure as hell commission you if this is the kind of quality you'd be putting out. At least, if I had money. Either way, good show.

I love how you used the colors, the combination of yellow and vibrant bloody red
looks so great and give a very strange feeling, is almost like a bomb have explode
right next to them. By the way I feel kinda sorry for the poor guy that now have no legs.
That should be a very bad day.

Impressive! O_o It reminds me so much of Jacques Tardi's WWI stories. Can't say I 'like' the colours, they're so unrealistic and a little sickening; but they match the atmosphere of the situation perfectly, and I guess that's the point. Great!

I like the colors you chose for this, gives it a "the end of yet another day" feeling mixed with some "i don't want to do this anymore".
At least to me, art has a way of making multiple people feel different, see different things.
Btw, i love that purple sky/cloud over there, it fits nicely.
