this is only spoilers because one of the characters wasn't in the marketing. I get that they're kiiiind of a twist character, but I still think it's a shame they didn't get to be in the posters and stuff because of that. I haven't even seen them in much fan content, either, which is a tragedy. ah well.

I haven't actually played Rift Apart (PS5s are expensive, y'all), but I've watched the cutscenes and a playthrough on YouTube and it looks fantastic. graphics are great, gameplay looks fun, the story was good and the new characters are delightful. here's hoping they stick around for future games! I haven't actually played that many Ratchet & Clank games (just All 4 One and Size Matters), but I have spent probably too much time watching cutscenes and playthroughs on YouTube. if you, like me, enjoy watching video game cutscenes in your free time, I highly recommend this series. the writing is great and it has some really funny jokes (as well as some surprisingly emotional parts, especially in the later games). All 4 One was lowkey the game that made me realize "oh, video games can be stories", since before that I'd only ever played games based on pre-existing movies. soundtrack bops too.

oh, and I used that ProCreate star tutorial again for the background. 10/10 tutorial, easy to do and looks nice.
