Something I sketched up last night rather quickly with copics. Unfortunately it didn't really deliver the result I wanted so I had to take it into photoshop. It took me a much longer time to fix this up since I have no tablet yet. I will be getting it this Monday though. P:This is an ode to The Protomen. Sniper Joe and Protoman in some sort of ambiance. I wanted to make Joe looking like he was fixing his badass bike, but I was short on paper and more markers since they were running dry really badly. Especially for Proptoman's gray suit...
Protoman n Sniper Joe belong to Capcom.

That is kickassia. Sometimes dying markers can give a fun and unexpected effect for the better. Traditional art is so trolly sometimes.

And the Protomen are kind of my favorite band in the history of existence (I've seen them... thrice now).
That's awesome! I'll definitely look for that! I'm considering going to Youma, but it just depends on if my friends are getting a room this year or not. One of these days I want to do a Protomen-inspired female version of Protoman (Protoma'am XD) with legit armor and everything.

I love it! The ambiance definitely gives this one a lot of the sad feeling from the Protomen. And I thought that's what Joe was doing, it looked like the lights from a bike under him, but I wasn't one hundred percent sure ^-^u Keep up the good work and I hope you have fun with your new tablet!

Thank you very much!! I should have drawn the bike but I drew on a constrained space so I was limited. Yeah I think his bike has neon lights in my imagination (even if he doesn't, my interpretation of it anyway, lol)

I'm liking this. the dark tone of the whole thing really gives it an almost Noir atmosphere. I especially like the way Sniper Joe's arm is lit up by the contrasting lighting. Both figures seem to be drawn and rendered mostly plain, which I think works to the piece's advantage. The majority of the details are placed where just where they need to be to capture a viewer's eyes, I feel. The red swoop from Joe's helmet also creates a nice line to follow directly to Protoman's face.

wow this looks awesome! O_O Especially since it's mostly copic with a bit of PS but it's still awesome! XD I almost thought it was paint! well from the thumbnail anyways!

Yeah mostly copic. This is the first time the digial version looks WAY better than the original which is pretty lack luster, unless I use much more variety of colors that I really don't have nor the money to spend on. Thanks! Yeah I was going for a painterly effect in PS.
