I love chibusa and I love Usagi Tsukino.....but I HATE Neo Queen Serenity! All I see when I look at her is an lonely, empty gravestone that says Usagi Tsukino, died at age 22.

I know she is. But because of her bad decisions, Crystal Tokyo is the only place left for humans, and all of them are brainwashed to pure of heart aka her 'purification.' And...even after the Black Moon group killed most of the earth except those in Crystal Tokyo but were finally defeated....things didn't turn out so well.
I'm not trying to be too harsh on Neo Queen Serenity. I get what the silver crystal and Queen Serenity was trying to do. It was trying to remake a version of the Silver Millenium on Earth, cause Earth had the best relations with the Moon Kingdom and her people. She'd resurrect Princess Serenity's personality in Usagi Tsukino, and all those under her rule would have no lack of anything, and be able to live 1000 years, and it would be a passive paradise that could stay its ways forever. Well...here's something Queen Serenity didn't occur to her, and Naoko Takuchi realized halfway through her manga, but could only make a story about it via a video game company called STARS, called Sailor Moon: Another Story......

And finally, we have the instinct for vengeance, to act upon it, and kill. To protect our loved ones, like our little brothers, we can kill. To protect the freedom of all humans from 10 irresponsible, semi-human girls, we can kill. But with a strong will, even a will that has been fueled by anger at the loss of her parents and the orphaning of herself and her little brother, even a will of someone with a soul of a dragon from hell itself, compassion and forgiveness can be found. Truce's can be made. Sin at the very end tried to show Sailor Moon humanity is a good thing, and to throw it all away, rule us, and weed out the bad people, is a disgrace on your own human life and her own family. Usagi is Usagi, no one else, not even your past life, can say otherwise.
But Sailor Moon and the other Sailor protagonists aren't the good guys in this story.
Their the bad guys. Angelic beings are incapable of seeing their perception as imperfect. Usagi even lied saying that not everyone wanted their destiny to be changed in the 30th century, even though Neo Queen Serenity already erased our capability for unhappiness at that time. The only ones not purified were the scouts and Neo Queen Serenity herself.
Light cannot exist without darkness. Our alien bretherin on the moon thought otherwise. So when Usagi reached 22, Queen Serenity set up a trap in the silver crystal to create Crystal Tokyo. And when Usagi and Princess Serenity's personality collided at the critical moment, Serenity's won out.
And that's why Neo Queen Serenity is, by definition, a villain. She trampled on the human spirit, and only we humans paid the price over and over again.

Neo Queen Serenity is just gorgeous here! I love her face, just as before, and the expression is beautiful. Mature, but still youthful and lovely. Chibiusa looks adorable too.
