Im not sure myself, I think they were just practicing, it was musking season though so it very well could be real aggression. I am happy to report that not long after taking these photos, they went for a drink and moved off, so no one got hurt

It was a very exciting day indeed This happened at a watering hole where 3 lion had recently taken down a buffalo. the buffalo attacked the lion...wow... (my photos of the scene arent very good but it was incredible just seeing it in real life)
