I use watercolor paper. I love it, because it has some texture. 
Yes they are A3. I don't get my drawings scanned. xP They're all photos. I only have an A4 scanner.

oh okay because even i take pictures with a camera and sometimes i hate it when they dont give me the clear graphics that i want
i tried finding those pencils here, but i cant so i am using the ones by Cretacolor.....

I know! I hate taking pics with the camera. I would prefer a scanner by far. Although my camera is pretty good, but it's just like you said. I feel that some of the details can't be seen.
I have one from Cretacolor, it's a 6B.
