Description You've been sitting on the uncomfortable wooden dock for what feels like years by now, and still no sign of what you drove three hours to witness. You've become fidgety as parts of your body begin to take on a tingly, pin-pricking sensation from your inactivity. Restlessly, you drum your fingers on the splintering wood that you have grown to detest. Was this even worth it? Was it even really here?
You glance at your wristwatch to find that you have been sitting on that damned dock for a half an hour, with nothing to show for it. You sigh, knowing you have to begin the three hour drive back to your home soon, or risk facing your mother's wrath for missing dinner.
You sigh and rise to your feet, joints popping with the sudden movement. Stretching your back, you exhale sharply and turn to leave, considering this mission a failure. You mentally curse yourself for going in with expectations and setting yourself up for such disappointment.
You turn your back on the cove, and begin to walk back down the dock towards the rocky shore. But a sudden and strong impulse to turn around cannot be ignored...
Whirling around, you see a perfect torpedo rise out of the water, seemingly in slow motion. At first you see only black and white, split perfectly down the middle, but as it continues to rise, the characteristic white eye marking becomes visible, along with an eye bluer than the ocean surrounding it. As more of the creature's head breaks the surface, a misty exhale shoots loudly from a hole atop the head. The water cascades smoothly off of the black and white skin without friction.
As its large, paddle-like flippers begin to break surface, the animal pauses its ascent. The blue eye turns in your direction, making instant contact with your own now-widened eyes. Never have you seen an eye hold so much emotion; emotion that you cannot even begin to describe. Its as if the whale is staring straight into your soul, forming some sort of ancient, spiritual judgement.
As suddenly as the encounter had began, the muscles contracted, firmly plugging the blowhole. The orca began sliding back into his watery veil, though the eye remained fixed on your face. Only when the water lapped at the eye itself did he break his stare.
Within seconds, the only evidence that he had ever existed was ripples dancing around the water's surface, the pounding of your heart as adrenaline pulsated through your body.

I randomly got an urge to draw Ano onto a photo. I chose a photo that I took at the lake where my grandparents have their lakehouse, rather than photos I took at the bay or the beach. The reason, simply being, that this particular body of water holds a very special place in my heart, and I thought it would be more appropriate to draw my orca-self into the lake that means so much to me.
I also attempted to draw in cork floats, since this encounter takes place when Ano was captured and held in a net pen the first time.
I was originally going to try to go for a more realistic look for Ano rather than my usual cartoony style, but it didn't feel genuine and I decided to go with my norm.

If this is submitted to the wrong category, feel free to inform me~
