So guess who has a big stack of dA-ready photos after going through all her old photos and editing a bunch of them? THIS GIRL!Many of the photos I intended to post that were taken while I had my old computer never ended up getting edited because the version of iPhoto I had back then was so awful when it came to colour adjustments that I just got frustrated and gave up in many cases. But this newest version is SO much better, so I realized that editing all these super yellow photos wouldn't be so difficult now!
Fun fact! I actually went busking this summer as Pikachu in order to earn some money for travelling this year. Walking around downtown and weirding people out was so much fun!
I even made a bunch of "cool" guys break their act and have a little nostalgic freak out.

I still think this is one of the best Pikachu gijinka cosplays ever made, and it's one of my top favorites out of all the cosplays you've done. I can't describe how amazingly cute you look! You have such a sweet and happy smile, and it really adds to the cuteness! Seriously, you did a perfect job with everything! The makeup, the ears, the wig, the outfit itself, EVERYTHING is just so perfect! I just hope my Pikachu cosplay turns out to be as good as yours!

Super cute, I had not seen these before. I really love the bows on the socks. I also like that the photography is by your father. That made me smile for some reason. I was wondering what type of camera you are using, are you editing RAW files?

Haha, I can see why. I'm really happy that my parents are supportive of my cosplaying and take photos; they're really fun to have photoshoots with. ^^
This photo was taken with my dad's Nikon D40, though my recent photos have been taken with my new Nikon D3100. And I am indeed editing the RAW files.

I have never used iPhoto so I was not sure if it was able to edit RAW files. I have used GIMP a bit in the past but I really, really need to learn more about editing and manipulating my photos.
The ribbons do not need my approval, I just acknowledge their awesomeness.

Yeah, it seems not many people I know have. XP iPhoto edits pretty much anything, but it's best using it just for minor edits, being colour saturation mostly, as well as minor adjustments to brightness and contrast - everything else, I let Photoshop handle. Well, if you ever want any tips, just let me know! It takes a long time to get a handle on photo editing, and it's important to practice since the editing can often make or break a photo.
