Ah this is just magnificent. The figures all huddled around to see the church, the foot throwing the composition askew but adding to the action within the photograph, and the woman stopping to take a picture of what lies before her. You've managed to condense and distill a little slice of the beautiful city in this shot, the perspective is rather lovely, giving you that ants-eye view but much better. Colour, vibrant and alive, brings everything together.

I love the composition of the photography. It is very much cinematographic. The beauty of the architecture is the buildings is seen alongside with the people walking the streets tending to their everyday business. I love the capture of the man's retreating foot in the lower left. It feels as if he has walked past us and the beauty seen on this street as we are walking towards the Basilica.

Amazing...this looks like an accurate computer-generated scene; the angles of that building so sharp and uniform. Where is architecture of that value these days?

you would need labor at about .50 an hour with the talent of michael angelo to replicate this type of archetecture today. never happen again.

Brilliance! I really love the way the people are looking up, just like in a movie when something happens, like a miracle. I also like the guy in the bicycle and the foot too. Good choice of doing worm's eye view also. I was wondering why the pic is so grainy in ISO100, it's not bad or anything, I think it really works for it too.

Oh, one more question, I've always thought that a sigma dslr only took photos in RAW mode. How are you able to display all the technical stuff? When I do raw mode in with my canon all the technical infos disappear(ISO,Shutter, F-stop, etc.)

Later.

i have a crazy lens .. it is a 15-30mm sigma. it weighs a ton but is my favourite lens. it has a concave lens that looks like it is half of a tennis ball. very powerful dof.

i sent away for a 4gb microdrive 2weeks before the trip and it would not work in my camera. so i had to settle for a 2gb. i actually thought it would be enough...bad idea..
