Just a quick panorama I took tonight
The Onkaparinga River is the second major river of the Adelaide region, after the River Torrens. The name derives from the Indigenous Kaurna name Ngangiparri which translates as "The Women's River".

Oo a local? I used to love fishing here for Mullet and Bream, although I never ate anything that I caught from here

I make the trip from Adelaide for the fishing, haha.
I've caught some nice big Bream there, but the taste was a bit strange. River fish always taste a bit muddy for me.

Agreed! This is why I prefer open water fishing
To be fair, fishing at the mouth of the river should be fine, but I definitely wouldn't keep anything caught down any further.

River fishing is more for sport alone in my opinion. But I at least pride myself on trying every fish we catch- river caught or not, haha.
