Description Holy cow this was a big project! This is perhaps the biggest single image pic that I have drawn to date. It features BaronGoldfist 's Bleach OC Tenno Ryuunosuke in his bankai state. While in his bankai state, Tenno can summon nine different dragons representing nine different elements. I'm a stickler for detail so put as much detail and effort into each dragon as I do one transformer.  This project spent a long time in the R&D stage because I wanted each dragon to be a character in and of itself. Just to give you an example how big this project was, with all of the layers merged, the file size was originally 20 Mb on Adobe Photoshop. My first requested picture, (fav.me/d7jc2b7 ), was only 4.23 Mb. In order to make it user friendly, I shrunk the file down to 10 Mb. This project has taken me a long time to produce. BaronGoldfist  I am so sorry that it has taken this long.

Tenno and the dragons belong to

I drew inspiration from a lot of different sources while designing these dragons:

Fire Dragon(top): This was inspired by the classic medieval European dragon design because Tenno is a knightly figure and I wanted his main dragon to reflect this as well.

Steel Dragon (top left): This dragon was inspired by the Driller from Transformers: Dark of the Moon. I chose to make him a robot because steel a manufactured metal so it would only make sense for the dragon equivalent to be manufactured as well.

Light Dragon (top right): This one was inspired by the Digimon sense of the element of light which generally depicted a angelic warrior. I also made this one slightly more human in appearance so that is better fit the angle appearance.

Ice Dragon (Upper middle left): Okay I'd be lying if I didn't admit that this dragon wasn't inspired by a certain character from a certain Disney film...that's right the Ice dragon is inspired by the White Witch from The Chronicles of Narnia.

Water Dragon (Upper middle right): This dragon is indented to be the sister of the Ice dragon. The different personalities portrayed by her and her sister played a major roll in their design they both possesses the same basic design, but as opposed to her sister. The water dragon is modeled after the famous water dwelling creature, the Loch Ness Monster.

Air Dragon (lower middle left): I based this dragon off Aang and Appa from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Fun loving, adventurous, and fluffy like the clouds he inhabits. He also has a little Falkor the Luck Dragon from The Neverending Story thrown in there too,

Electric Dragon (lower middle right): This dragon features a deign based on the oriental dragons which are more serpentine in nature. This design was also meant to mimic a lightning bolt. I also drew inspiration from the Pokemon Rayquaza.

Dark Dragon (bottom left): This dragon was design to vaguely mimic its opposite, the light dragon, but I wanted to steer away from the traditional sense of dark types and decided to go for an appearance that alluded to him once being a light dragon, but the darkness has caused him to become more monstrous and decayed. He was also inspired by Ridley from the Metroid franchise. (also note that he and the light dragon are at opposing poles of the image.)

Stone Dragon (bottom right): This dragon was actually the first one I started drawing. He is primary based on the on the old mythological story involving the continents of the world actually being the backs of large turtles. Apart from his tortoise based design he is also based on Pokemon Onix. I also wanted to give him an aged looked, hence the beard of grass and the broken horn.
