Hellooo!! I feel like I haven't posted something in forever! (Which is not true, I posted something less than a week ago xD)More Hunger Games fan art! Although this time more happy art! (Ok, to be fair not like the books are sunshine and rainbows anyway)
SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOKS AND DON'T WANT TO KNOW
I wanted to draw the kids that come on the epilogue of Mockingjay, Finnick and Annie's kid and Katniss and Peeta's kids, Willow and Rye. I'll call Finnick and Annie's son Finn Jr for short, since as far as I know, he doesn't have a name xD Finn Jr was born at least 15 years before Willow, which means that for the matters of this picture, he's in his early 20's.
So as what's going on in the pic, maybe Katniss, Peeta and their kids are visiting Annie and Finn Jr in District 4 and while on the beach this picture was taken. I really don't know I just wanted to draw the kids and this happened lol
Also, I know I've been drawing a lot of the beach lately xD I can't help it, it's summer here and I really want to go to the beach

The first part of Mockingjay was incredible! I really recommend you to watch it because you will not be disappointed!
I think so too! They're really really good, although I don't know about the first one, they left out some details like Peeta's leg and all that but... yeah it was still good! Catching Fire is probably my favorite though...

It is! I find it really hard to do poses where the characters are actually interacting with each other, which they're doing here, and it looks really good

Heh, well I guess it's practice, as everything else ^^
I find it particularly useful to use my own family photos and stuff as reference, if not that then there's also lots and lots of pictures in the internet. Maybe that can help you figuring it out!
