Aduro is appropriately flame-related. The skies are alight.
The image was taken way back in July 2005, in the fields around the village where I live. While this isn't necessarily the start of autumn, I felt this image had that sort of feeling to it with the dark, reddish tones. I really need to get somewhere else to take these sorts of shots, heh, I've all but exhausted the local area. Maybe once I can drive...

The colors are gorgeous! How do you get them so vibrant? I've tried takin pictures at dusk, but they don't usually come out so well.

It was a combination of the day being extremely dramatic anyway; my camera acting almost like a holga or something similar (despite being a digicam), and some slight post-work in Photoshop. No colour edits, though; merely level-changing and some removal of grain.
