Another shot from this year's Canfield Fair (the Mahoning County Fair, OH).I always loved this ride as a kid because it went so freakishly fast. That and the wonderful siren it always lets out when it hits high speed.
I like how some of the other rides are also in motion in the background. This particular corner of the fair is the best for photos (and the best of all, because on the other side of the street is where they sell the cherry cider, in the apple barn

Awesome photo! I operate a Musik Express in New Jersey, and everything about it is fun: the blaring music and sirens, the lights, it's all so great. The motion that you captured in this shot sums up the Express perfectly!

The colors in this are amazing, the whole thing really glows. I love the motion blurs, and this so makes me wish I had a tripod so I could try shots with longer exposure time.

If your camera has manual settings all you need is a flat surface. They make little pocket tripods, too, which really come in handy.

You know the one that's just a big vertical circle with the car on the inside? One time my brother and I were on that, and the lapbar didn't work. We spent the whole ride trying to keep ourselves off the ceiling. I never rode it again.
