This is, of course, not the real Temple of Heaven, but a scale version of it at Epcot's China pavilion.China is my favorite pavilion at Epcot. I love the architecture, the movie, the store, the museum... just about everything except the restaurant. My usual reaction when I walk into the store is "One of each, please!"
During extra magic hours it's closed, which made me sad this night, because I couldn't go in any of the buildings, but also afforded an opportunity to quietly take pictures with absolutely no one around. And I mean no one. Not a soul was walking around the pavilion except for me.

I highly recommend it. World Showcase is empty during the extra hours, so you'll have the whole place to yourself. Or close enough.

If you have a tripod you should be able to get decent night shots no matter what camera you have.

How close were you to the building its self? Did you have a strong flash ?

I'm not sure exactly, maybe 50 or 60 feet? I didn't use a flash, it's a long exposure with the camera on a tripod. Your pictures list the camera used as a Canon PowerShot. Is that your camera? You can use the manual settings for pictures like this if that's your camera. A lot of my older pictures use my old PowerShot.

It's the temple of heaven but I have no idea if that means you can access heaven through the temple or what it entails. I don't know enough about it to say.

This is beautiful. Japan's been my favorite pavilion for years for obvious reasons, but honestly many of the things in the China Pavilion are so beautiful that the Japan Pavilion can never compete with (for one thing Japan should have a movie XD).

They do a really good job at recreating the originals at Epcot, even if everything is all very scaled down.
