Were it not for the breasts I would have assumed this was a bloke...
Interesting character.

I wonder if she ends up with many of those giant/domination fetish guys.

I suddenly have a strong urge to quote Austin Powers.

The line that came to mind was, "that's not your mother, that's a man, baby!" I think it's the hawkish face and Pete White hair that scream "dude." But then I assume you weren't going for a particularly feminine look there with the unibrow and all (the comment's are not intended as an insult, though they probably sound like it). But, unlike a few people I used to know, at least she's got other things going for her that make her gender clear.
Its kinda hard to show something as a giant without having some object to show relative size. That's probably why people like to draw them with tree trunks for clubs. I know that for humans you have to crest 8 heads tall to pass the heroic height but giants are often depicted with either normal human proportions or as squat given how gravity is more problematic in larger critters so that does not help.

I agree. Since she belongs to a race of lumbering brutes, the last thing I wanted to do was make her look pretty. My initial idea was to give her some fullness - gravity can wreak havoc on such a massive form, like you described - but I decided to give her a gangly look just to bring back a little of the femininity that I purposely omitted in the face.
You think I should add something or someone to show scale?

OK, I was sort of thinking that was what you had in mind.
I think it would help to establish scale. One of the more common tricks seems to be to have a large object used in place of a smaller object that people would use, like the aforementioned tree trunk as a club, a sea chest as a clutch, or maybe a car tire as a bracelet. There's also the silhouette of a normal person that museum displays always use for scale.

I've added a privacy partition. Does it work any better?

Haha! I wish. It is a constant struggle, my friend. Takes a lot of practice and a LOT of references.
