Still , it upsets me greatly that he's so underrated
He's extremely charismatic , his voice sounds fantastic , among all the actually living characters he's the only one that looks like a King and doesn't wear any crown or doesn't claim one , he's smart ( in every meaning possible ) , and shuts Joffrey's mouth whenever he wants ! Gotta love him
Which actually tends to make me think how twisted i am since everyone seems to love Jon or Robb and all the " handsome " young boys ... I'm not ! They are just fools

Couldn't agree more. I really like Tywin Lannister. He's probably my favorite character in the series. Machiavelli would be proud of him.
The other characters just don't cut it for me other than many of them being pretty funny although I'm warming up to Margaery. Most of the other characters are either kind or noble and yet too head strong and dumb (practically all the Starks), in between fairly immoral but pretty amusing (like Robert, Jamie, Tyrion, and a few others), utterly depraved and spoiled (Cersei and Joffrey), etc.
I would root for the Starks (and I still probably) will, but they just can't get their act together and think at least two steps ahead. If they could do that much I would like them.

In my opinion he is the best character , and he's totally a kind of portrayal of the ideal " Prince " of Machiavelli , which cultivated people only will notice ( yes , i'm starring at you , people who hate Tywin for no valid reason )
Yes , Starks are honourable and terribly naive , expect Arya which makes her pop up among her family , Jaime is interresting because he really changes from Season 1 to to and mostly in season 3 ( same in the books actually ) , and the others ... well .
The most pathetic reason to like someone is because he's " hot " , so take of half of Jon and Dany's fan , and probably couple other too , i dislike the Tyrells because they are opportunistic traitors that tries to outsmart the Lannisters without whom they'd still be in HighGarden having " fun " .
Actually i appreciate Arya greatly , she's really interresting , and Catelyn was a good mother , Ned was nice , but the others ... Robb is just an utter fool that threw himself into the Lion's mouth , Bran in more interresting in the books , and Jon's brain must me melting according to the gormless expression he always has on his face .
