Thank you very much, most often the places in my landscapes are from my imagination. I only use reference (photo) for specific objects, when I need them to look like something. Occasionally, someone will ask me to paint a specific place, then I will use the photo they have chosen, as reference.

This is so beautiful! It reminds me of my wish to experience a real snowfall for once in my life. I live in south Texas where snow is RARE (the last snowfall was in 1985, I was three).

LOL..wow...I almost wish I didn't have to experience snowdall..we get piles of the white stuff here every year...and it stays on the ground from Nov-Dec all the way til March!!!...But, it can be very beautiful as well. Thanks for your comment.
