as Tabatha from Tales of Symphonia. This is the last of the three costumes I made for our little ToS group. ^^I love Tabatha's outfit, the contrast of black and green is really nice in my opinion. The design is rather simple too so it was a breeze to pattern and sew. The only things that gave me trouble were the hat and the shoes (which you can't see here T_T) because I did things in a dumb order and made it harder than it should have been. The wig is actually my Nephenee wig, so it's not exactly the right shade of green. xD;
I'm very happy with how this costume turned out and I think ~ZapRing suits Tabatha really well. ^^

May I ask how you made the hat? I'm currently trying to make a Tabatha cosplay costume and I'm having trouble with the hat...

Eh, I don't really know how to explain. There's nothing special about it; I didn't put any understructure in there, just interfaced all the fabric pieces to get it stiff enough. If I remember correctly, I made the hat out of three pieces - the top, front and back - and appliqued the white parts on afterwards. The edges were finished with bias tape.

I actually thought about cosplaying as her at my next convention, but I decided to go with something super simple (a.k.a. a Team Rocket grunt) since it's my first time making my own costume.

That really is an awesome cosplay, and I agree, ~ZapRing makes a great Tabatha. The simple costume design and colour scheme makes a nice change now and again~
