Wow! This is a really cool pic! Not only is the idea interesting (I never really think about the food chain in Pokemon XD) but the textures you've created in the piece are very eye-catching. It almost looked to me at first like it was a carving or something! And kudos for using watercolor ^^ Traditional media FTW! In all, it's a very balanced and colorful and... great job!

Also, the anime is a little toned down since it has a younger audience, buuuuut if you play the game, sometimes there are books you can read in certain places that describe their world. Actually the people eat poke'mon too, but in a way kinda like the Na'vi (if you have watched Avatar) in that they have to respect the poke'mon the eat, and return the bones to nature. Or something.
