I am probably never doing this kind of gun again.
The longstrike is a very complex gun.

First here's what I started with.

So after making the Hello Kitty Nerf Recon, a very famous nerf guru called Lord Draconical saw it and wanted me to make a commission for his girlfriend on Valentine's Day. Although it arrived a day late, (Thanks Fedex >_>) I heard she enjoyed it quite a bit.

On a scale from 1-10 on the girliness scale, Drac told me to shoot for a 9-10. I ended up hitting an eleven.

If you take a look at the gun, it is covered in a light layer of glitter, held in place with clear coat. There is also a whole bunch of stickers from random stores all over the entire thing.

Also, the Bloody Hello Kitty is a bit of an inside joke. I sat around with a couple of engineers to find out the best way to have it hang from the stock. After a couple of different ideas, we found the best way was to attach it by making her wear a headband as a ribbon.

Wearing a headband in HvZ marks you as zombie, so I kind of just splashed some fake blood and a bit of red paint onto her arms and face.

Also some things you might not notice on your first look through of the gun. The back of the gun as a small window to see if the plunger is pulled back and primed. I put a Hello Kitty Sticker there so you see her face when you're ready to shoot. The magazine points in which direction darts go with a heart. The bow tie is made out of a very stiff felt with glitter built into it.

This was my first Professional Commission so I'm very glad it could be Drac!
