OKAY SO THE ORIGINAL SKETCH LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER ASKDJFDKJGHAGJKFDA sorry for my poor mouse editing skills i'm going to cry in this corner right here okay really the only reason i did that was so you guys could get an idea of his color scheme i'll try to fix it some other time maybe Okay, played with the opacity and stuff and got it to look better, and also added this texture

But yeah I lied and finished this tonight. I didn't have anything else to do. So I thought I'd murder my own character. C':

Blaxland the Vulkun

Height: 4' 1" at the shoulder
Weight: approx. 52 lbs.
Wingspan: 10'
Habitat: Desert
Diet: omniverous; prefers certain cacti and desert mammals, but also eats reptiles, insects, and various fruits
Bio: Blaxland is nomadic and nocturnal, as his dark fur and wings obviously attract much heat, yet they provide excellent camouflage at night as well as protection against the chilling nighttime desert temperatures. He has powerful jaws that allow him to crunch through bone if necessary, and a stomach strong enough to digest it {as well as cactus needles}, but he doesn't typically hunt his own food. Leftover carcasses are generally his main source of meat, though occasionally he will make the kill himself if the prey comes to him. Blaxland also prefers to walk opposed to flying, and he tends to use his wings for intimidation, though he will fly if he has a particular destination or if he is having difficulty finding food from the ground. Very pacifistic, if there are other predators consuming a meal, he will simply pass it up and find one of his own. However, he knows when not to turn his back on an enemy if confronted and can actually put up a powerful fight if need be.
