Description

“Ugh, I can’t believe it.” Jake complained.

“Oh quiet, you. You don’t have to bitch about him like that.” Dri responded, giving his friend a critical look.

“I’m just saying, look at him! He’s so slow compared to the others, why is he even on the team?!” He continued, to which Dri just rolled his eyes.

Jake was being an ass, but in his head, Dri had to admit he was right. Hugh was a far cry from the average performance of the track team. You could already tell from just looking at them all together, the poor guy clearly didn’t seem particularly athletic compared to the others. Dri, as the team captain for example, had a good build. He was tall, strong, and had a demeanor that commanded a lot of respect from his friends. Coupled with his nice jawline and short black hair, he was actually quite popular all things considered. Hugh was kinda the complete opposite. His build was exceptionally lanky, and despite his time on the team so far, that hadn’t changed all that much. It also hurt that he seemed to be a naturally slow runner. Dri knew it was a bit unfair to compare Hugh to himself, he knew his own times were exceptional, but that didn’t change just how poor Hugh’s were. Of course, just because someone wasn’t a top performer, it didn’t mean they should be kicked out. This was mostly a hobby for Dri, and there was no point depriving people of participating in the sport if they wanted to compete. He knew the team was growing steadily unhappy with Hugh’s lack of improvement, Jake especially, but they weren’t going to get him to kick the guy out.

“I’ve already told you, we’re not gonna pressure him to drop out. Maybe he needs a bit more time.” He eventually responded, seeing Hugh return from his two laps he’d been assigned for training.

“He’s had plenty. I’m telling you, he’s weighing us down. The guys have been doing the math, our average times are literally worse right now than the girls’ team. Shit’s gonna look bad on our records. I’ve been looking around, and I found this-” Jake was quickly interrupted by Dri giving him a look as Hugh got close.

“H-How’d I do, Dri? What do you think?” He asked, almost innocently.

“Well, I wasn’t keeping track of the time, but it looks atleast better than last week. Keep it up.” Dri answered, to which Jake just rolled his eyes. Hugh seemed to accept this answer, as he proceeded to nod and then quickly go back to change.

“...So what is it?” Dri proceeded to ask Jake, “Are you just gonna keep complaining to me about the guy?”

“No, I’m not. Look, I’m just saying that I’ve been doing some digging the past week, and I think I may have found a solution…” Dri raised his eyebrow in suspicion, but he was interested in hearing his suggestion nonetheless…

—---------------------------------------

Hugh sighed as he exited the locker room. He didn’t wanna stick around longer than he needed. He wasn’t an idiot, he knew what the others thought. He’s been pretty disappointed with his own times himself, but everyone’s attitudes weren’t helping. Whenever he was running and passed by his team, there was just this look that came from them. A look of disappointment. He wasn’t expecting so many of the guys there to be so competitive, he heard their complaints, why did it matter so much that he wasn’t as good of a runner as them? Even today, he was pretty sure Jake was talking about him to the captain, Dri. Hugh wasn’t even sure why Dri hadn’t kicked him out or something if they all disliked him so much. Either way, there wasn’t much to do. Even if he wasn’t that good, he did want to keep competing. Running was fun, it felt freeing, like he could escape anything that was bothering him. Just being given the opportunity to run like that every time they had training was enough for him.

***The Following day...***

    “...aaaaand… GO!”

At the captain’s word, Hugh leapt his feet forward and began running. He wanted to prove himself this time, even if the distance quickly grew between him and everyone else that was running. Though unbeknownst to him, there were changes taking place. With every step, his frame got just an itty bit smaller, his hair increased in length, and specific areas around his body began making distinct shifts that would ultimately leave him with a new shape. Hugh could hear some snickering from the guys watching the run, but he paid them no mind, he was going to show them some day! Though he found the run being unexpectedly difficult, or moreso off-putting. He felt as if he was being weighed down, as his body just didn’t respond quite as right as it was supposed to. Indeed, there was a shift in balance once the changes had gotten past a certain point. However, he had yet to notice until he felt a jiggling pain in his chest.

He stopped, clutching his hand on his chest in response to the pain, only to be met with a shocking sight. Bits of his flesh had jotted out, in an odd shape. His face paled as he realized just exactly this shape was. They were boobs, small little a-cup breasts stuck out of his chest. He heard footsteps approaching, along with some familiar phrases like ‘holy shit’ and mocking laughter. The guys that had been spectating were coming up to get a closer look, and sure enough the other runners had stopped to arrive as well. They all wanted to see what had happened. Crouching in the middle of the track, surrounded by the guys, he felt a tear shed.

“Holy shit, it actually worked!” He heard someone say.

“Hugh’s a chick now!” Another added.

“Think she’d be into me?” Another voice jokingly said, followed by most of the team responding with some bantering variation of ‘shut up asshole’ or ‘dude thats so gay’.

Hugh felt like he was approaching a nervous breakdown, so he did the only thing he could think of doing.

He ran.

Bursting through the crowd of the boys that had surrounded him, he quickly made his way out of the track field, holding his new breasts in place all the while trying to dry the tears that had formed. As he ran, the changes would finish. He could feel his chest growing in size as he ran, and before he knew it, he’d realize his own manhood was missing and replaced with its feminine equivalent. He was fully a woman now. She kept running. Until suddenly-

Bam!

Near the academy entrance, she practically crashed into someone. Frantically, she stood up to apologize, in a voice she’d only just realized had also changed to suit her new form.

“S-Sorry, it won’t happen again, I was just in a rush and-” She was thankful her teard had dried by this point, she couldn’t deal with more embarrassment.

“Hey no worries, it happens.” The girl responded, smiling. As Hugh looked upwards to see her face, she recognized her. “You know, actually, before you leave… What’s your name? We actually have a loose spot on the girls’ track team, if you’re interested.”

Hugh had seen this girl before. It was Sara, captain of the girls’ track team. “I know this seems sudden, but you were running pretty fast back there”, she added.

Hugh wasn’t sure what to say, but almost instinctively, at the opportunity of being asked to join the other team, she responded, “Sure. It’s Hayleigh.”

—--------------------

What followed was an interesting month, as ‘Hayleigh’ adapted to the changes, all the while growing accustomed to becoming a member of the girls’ track team. For whatever reason, no one had questioned the transformation, people who knew her just seemed to act like she’d always been a girl. Well, except for the guys who did this to her. In comparison, she actually found the girls’ track team to be much… nicer. The girls were all kind, and Sara and the others were supportive of each other. She actually felt herself becoming a better runner as time went on. Sure, it was a bit trickier running with the new body, but nothing that practice and a good sports bra couldn’t fix.

But even so, she was mad. The guys on the other team had done this to her. They’d forcibly changed her into a girl against her will, and then ganged up on her in the middle of practice. She was even more motivated to prove them all wrong than ever. She could only imagine how they’d react if she had a good time now, when some would argue she’d be even less capable. And so she trained even harder, determined to show them all.

The day eventually came where the two teams were meant to train together, as a simple fun event. They were even doing it on the beach today, with the idea being that they’d all have some fun once they were done. In fact, she was already attracting some looks. She could feel her former teammates’ eyes on her, specifically on her lower half, as she was only wearing bikini bottoms there. It was an odd sensation, being admired like that, one that she wasn’t sure if she actually hated. But Hayleigh needed to focus on something else, as after all her training, she wanted to challenge one of the guys to a quick race. Most of them laughed at the suggestion, but the idea eventually came up that Dri would be willing to do it. Maybe it was a bit unfair to run with a team captain, but Hayleigh didn’t mind, and was happy so long as she got to show off how she’s improved. Why, she was almost offended at how Dri seemed to look at her before they started. Knowing those guys, he was probably looking down on her. Tying her long hair into a ponytail, Hayleigh got herself ready, prepared to run along the edge of the beach.

As they leapt off, Hayleigh felt confident, though a gap between the two runners quickly appeared. It wasn’t unexpected, but she knew the distance between them wasn’t as long as expected. In a moment, she glanced towards the other spectators. The girls, smiling and cheering her on, but the guys… they had this cocky look. They looked at her like she was a joke, that it wasn’t even worth their captain’s time running, let alone their own watching.

In that instant, Hayleigh’s instincts told her to run.

It was as if suddenly summoning a burst of extra power, though she’d lagged behind Dri, in a second she’d found herself inching closer to him. In fact, she was almost reaching him when-

Crash!

She slipped on the sand and fell, spraining her ankle. Hayleigh immediately herd some ‘ooh’s from the other, and a tiny bit of mocking laughter from the guys, though thankfully it sounded like the girls were saying something back to them. Hayleigh however was occupied by her foot, had she scraped it on a rock or something? She noticed a bit of bleeding. Suddenly she felt a grip on her torso, of someone lifting her up.

“You okay?” A deep voice asks, and with one foot landing on the ground to help sustain herself, she tilted her head upwards up to meet the eyes of the one holding her up. It was Dri. So close like this, she couldn’t help but note their difference in height, and his bulkier frame that seemed to have no problem helping her up. As the sun shined on his reassuring smile, she felt a stirring warmth in her nether region. That moment passed quickly however. Dri spotted the hint of red on Hayleigh’s foot, and quickly slings her arm over his shoulder. “L-Let’s get you somewhere we can help you…”, he adds, his face growing a bit redder. Hayleigh’s own face was adopting a similar shade, though she couldn’t tell. At the moment, her mind was a bit too preoccupied processing the circumstance, and she felt her eyes wander to Dri’s shorts, which now seemed to have a pitched tent. Just what was this feeling…?

—----------------

“...I’m sorry, by the way.” Dri finally said. He and Hayleigh were now sitting near the surf shop, with the latter’s foot now bearing a bandage. Training was done for today, and their teammates had gone to hang out and mess around on the beach in front of them. For whatever reason, Dri hadn’t returned to them. He sat by her.

    “For what?” She asked.

“You know…” He responded, “the whole turning you into a girl thing…” There was a moment of silence, before he continued. “I didn’t even think it would work, it sounded ridiculous. Jake and the guys just said it’d make everyone happy, you get kicked off on account of being a girl, and if you still wanted to play you’d just join the girls’ team. It was just bullying, whether it’d work or not. I should have told them to quit it…”

Hayleigh wasn’t sure how to respond. Dri’s eyes weren’t exactly meeting hers, he kept looking away with a blush on his cheeks. Though she could understand that feeling a bit. She felt awkward herself, her own eyes kept drifting down to his torso, which was without a shirt on account of the beach theme. She wasn’t sure what to make of that habit, but it looked nice, everyone knew Dri was one of the most athletic guys around, and it showed… B-But anyway, “It’s fine… I think I’ve gotten over the change. The girls treat me way better, and whatever you guys did I think made my mind adapt or something. I stopped seeing myself as anything other than a girl a while ago…”

Dri glanced back at Hayleigh, and for a moment their eyes met, causing both to turn their heads and look away. “...That’s good. Just wish I could have done more back then.”

Hayleigh bit her lip, oh but there was definitely something he could do for her right now. I mean what? Twirling a lock of hair, she glanced back at him while blushing heavily, “Actually… Do you wanna keep talking about this somewhere private…?”

—-----------------------

“Damn, it’s getting late, we should probably head back by now,” Jake suggested.

“Figures, I thought you guys were gonna keep track of time. Some of us have to study for an exam tomorrow!” Sara responded.

“Us? You don’t need like 10 dudes to keep track of time, we just got Dri do it. He’s always been good at that anyway.” He hit back, causing some mumbling among everyone.

“...Hey, where is Dri, anyway?” One of the guys asked.

“Maybe he went home already?” Another suggested.

…Meanwhile, in a changing room nearby, Dri was a bit too busy with other matters. His now-girlfriend Hayleigh was sharing the space with him, and as she furiously locked lips with her boyfriend, the two were understanding just how easy it was for them to be distracted by the other…

Today had gone a bit differently than expected for Hayleigh, but she was plenty satisfied with the results. She might not have won the race, but the guys would definitely be surprised by how far she’d come, when they’d find out she was dating their captain~
