"Fucking Zack, this is practically bullshit..."
I kicked a rock in front of me, venting out my quiet frustrations. I was heading home from swim practice, and I was still trying to get that asshole out of my head. I’d been the top swimmer on the team before he showed up. I’ve been trying to train harder to match his time, but it was no use, I couldn’t even get within ten seconds of the guy.
“Ah, could something be troubling you, young man?” Said a woman nearby, standing in the doorway to some kinda store. “My store has many mythical wares, perhaps one could be of use to you?”
I didn’t get what this woman was talking about, but found myself wandering in. Might as well. Maybe I'll even get my mind off Zack's stupid grin.
After a bit of looking around, she ended up bringing one such ‘mythical ware’ right to me.
“This here rock made out of a witch’s ashes is said to grant wishes. For a discounted price, perhaps you could give it a go?”
I rolled my eyes given she was clearly a crackpot, but whatever. “Sure, I wish me and Zack were a perfect match.”
She then proceeded to swear to me like a madwoman that this was now guaranteed to happen, and that reality and even people's memories may be manipulated in the process. It was pretty clear to me at that point that this woman was nutso, so I just quickly gave her the money and left.

Of course, this didn't help me get my mind off the whole issue with Zack at all. Though as I continued thinking about that lady and the 'wish' I was promised, maybe it was worth atleast a shot. The next day came, and I'd decided I was gonna challenge him to a 'friendly match'. Of course, I was hoping that maybe things would be different today.
Though as I start swimming, I find it suddenly getting a bit trickier. As if my whole balance is off. My hair also kept getting in the way of my vision, it was a total pain. It was all the more frustrating to see Zack actually dash past me while I was still several meters away from my first lap. What’s more, for whatever reason he was smiling at me while doing so. There was just this weird aura I got from it too, because when he did that it felt so much harder to focus. I couldn't let him get away...

By the time I finished my laps, I noticed Zack had already pushed himself up out of the pool, and he was walking over to some water bottles lying around. I couldn’t help but notice a few of the muscles built on his back…
“You know, you did pretty good based on the circumstance. That bikini and all the hair probably didn’t do you any favors.”
I found a smile creeping up on my face as he turned around to walk back to me, water bottle in hand.
“I well… also happen to be an athlete, so you really didn’t stand a chance in the end.”
Like it wasn’t obvious, I thought. Anyone could tell from how well built he was.
“I don’t mind. In fact, maybe we could find time to do something else. Perhaps, say… tonight?”
He blushed, and I found myself giggling at that reaction. He could be really cute.
“S-Sure! Practice is actually about to start soon, but maybe we can swap numbers later?”
“Sounds like a plan~”
I winked, before heading out of the pool myself. I accepted the water bottle I’d been offered and began making my way to the women’s changing room. Giving a flirty wave goodbye and making sure he got a nice view as I walked away.
What luck, I decide to go for a nice swim at an indoor pool, and I meet a guy who’s just my type. I was looking forward to tonight. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say we might end up being a perfect match~

If it wasn't obvious, my uploads are finally going to be slowing down. I still have things planned of course, some ideas for St. Athena's captions, a few story suggestions I'm brainstorming on, and that part 3 to Friendly Suggestions that I've been waiting to start for some time. Not sure when I'll be working on these, but those are probably what I'll do next.
