Wow, beautiful drawings, but yes, very Disney-ish.
The Panther looks like the cat from the Jungle Book, but still AMAZING drawings.

wow these two look great! and i think u did a good job of keeping away from TLK style. people just dont get lions and how if you draw them they are not nescessarily simba! loL!

Actually, these both look more towards the style of The Jungle Book, but with more real life study and detail. They're fabulous. ^__^

People can be so thick - Simba is not blue, for starters... XD

They definitely don't look like TLK felines, though! They're in a cartoonish style, for sure, bgut nothing wrong with that I love their expressions! The panther's face is so expressive. The lion's expression is great too, though... he looks grumpy [pokes him]. They're eyes are very nice...more or less like real cat's eyes, but coupled with the cartoonish featers (eyebrows and grins/scowls)...it's a neat style

Well, I think you have very much of the Disney style when drawing cats. Ya know what? Real cats don't have a mouth like that. Maybe you should look at some photos and try a new style.
Anyway, I like ths, jus ignore them if they tell it looks too much like TLK. Everyone has copied someone else for creating his own style, even the people at Disney .

i absolutely LOVE the expression on the panther! its so cool xD i have a hard time doing expressions, but its prolly cuz i never draw big cats, lol! and i hardly draw anything other than my chibi style. *shrugs* maybe i should practice, hmm.

That happens to me really often! It's always the same, if you draw a cartoon lion, they ALWAYS ask if that's supposed to be Simba... grr. But anyway, the lion doesn't look like simba, great style you used here!

Aww...don't you hate that? You'll be all drawin' some lion chara. of yours, mindin' your own business when suddenly people come up to all like, "Wow! Is that Simba?" ....I know how you feel..-_-; Well I for one think you did a good job of keeping away from TLK style. It looks great!
