Taken in Cinque Terre, north-west Italy, June 2005.I fell in love with this town.

Hmm, can't say that I remember that statue, it must be relatively new, as I didn't see it on my last visit in 2003

It doesn't look new, but it was in a fairly obscure location.

This is a great shot - the colours are gorgeous and the composition is great too. Italy is such a marvellous place - I haven't been to the Cinque Terre yet though - next time!

Wow... I missed you here by like two months... what a shame.
Talk about bringing back heaps of memories though... *le sigh* I absolutely love everything about Cinque Terre... it's such a unique place to be, such feelings of being so far away from... well, anything really.
You've really captured that essence of the area here, the bright coloured homes, the history with the monument there. It's all very nicely come together in this... absolutely.

Actually I use that camera not so often - it's more my husband's. Most of my shots are film SLR.

It's anyway quite distinctive the houses in so different colors
grouped like that one above the other.
I'm going to buy an SLR soon, a digital one though...
