Hey i'm back!I've finally done something new.
Now that Nano is over and I'm on holidays I'm sure i'll be putting pen and pencil to paper more often.
I hope you like this ... I think it's my nicest black and white so far.
It was completed while listening to speakers at the conference I attended this weekend. Don't get me wrong. The conference was amazing (see my blog [link] ). But I listen quite affectively when my hands have something to do.
The only reference i had was a femal speaker during question time and she kept moving, so the face isn't my best, but I love the flow of the lines ... hence the title.

I guess it helps when you really enjoy what you are doing.
I've tried other styles of art but this seems to be the one that fits me best as it's relatively quick.
I actually completed this one while at a seminar. So drawing like this is quite zen for me.

i find i draw better when i am listening to someone speaking too. Not music, but speaking.

That's interesting. I bet it's because the left hand side of your brain is concentratin on the meaning and that lwaves the right hand side of the brain free to create without criticism.

ooo...interesting theory...i have never really looked into why...but with complete silence or even with music i can never create the same things i do when i am listening to someone speak...

I enjoy this picture. Very good work! I've always enjoyed black and white art and you seem to have a posetive effect on paper. I myself hope to achieve the role of "Writer" so I wish you the best in both of your arts. Inspiration is always in front of you.
